Cory grew up in Long Beach, L. I. and Miami Beach, Fl. After attending Ball State Teachers College in Muncie, Indiana Cory joined the work force in New York as an assistant buyer and later went to the wholesale end and found her niche as a marketing/merchandising executive. She launched many designer labels in her career, including, Michael Kors, Geoffery Beene, and Christian Dior Sportswear. In the early 80s Cory became the first Women President of a Fortune 500 company in the clothing sector.
After 35 years in the fashion business she decided it was time to retire from the high pressure and the cold weather and move to warm and relaxing Key West, Florida. Retirement lasted about a year and a half and then it was on to a career in real estate, where she has taken the same dedication she had in her business career and propelled herself into being in the top 1% of agents in residential home sales. Recently Cory received her SFR designation which means she is a short sale and foreclosure specialist.
Cory is dedicated to giving outstanding personal service both in Real Estate and in the Community. Currently she is the Vice President and Fund Raising Chairman of the Key West Pops. When she's not participating in community activities she can often be found with her cute dog Bingo.
